To create awareness to government bodies by giving presentations on various aspect and showing them benefits of this industry in terms of revenue and employment.
To create positive mindset of authorities by making them understand that pyrolysis is not polluting industry, and in fact the most energy efficient way to recycle end of life tyres.
To come up with SOP for best practice of health and safety in plants, by organising seminars, conferences etc.
Scrap tyres represent a small percent of total waste but are one of the most difficult products to dispose off because even though they are fundamentally made of rubber products, they are a complex mixture of natural and synthetic products, metals and chemical additives.
Globally 65% of the tyres are recycled and 35% are sent to landfills, stockpiled or illegally dumped. India produces about 1,500,000 tons of tyre scrap every year. India has demand-exceeding supply and the scrap tyres have a value where processors are paying to receive the tyres. Therefore India has no tyre landfill or dumps. The credit for this goes to the widely developed tyre recycling industry in India.
